Pavilion Suspended in a Room – Cristina Iglesias

I really loved this installation when I saw it in the Tate Modern and felt that it could open up new ideas about how I could take Inside/Outside more literally, simplify my idea and produce something the be interacted with by the viewer. I’ve been feeling very stuck-in-a-rut with my current idea and fancy changing my direction by producing work that’s much more simplified rather than the work I’m currently producing which is a bit over-thought. I like the idea of branching out into installation and steering away from the figurative work I’ve been producing up until now.
